First up, you need to know that DockAdmin is meant to be used by system administrators (sys admins for short), technicians, and other advanced computer users. Next up, you need to know that DockAdmin is a management utility that will help you manage contacts, devices, tasks, passwords, and so on. And last but not least, you need to know that DockAdmin is offered for the great price of free.

The setup wizard that will install DockAdmin on your PC will have you pick one of several languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Hungarian. Please note that there are two DockAdmin editions to choose from: a Free and a Pro edition. The setup wizard will help you install the DockAdmin Free edition on your PC.

When you’re done installing DockAdmin, you will be presented with a configuration wizard. The setup wizard helps you install DockAdmin on your PC. This wizard will help you configure it: choose a supported language, pick a theme for the interface, enter personal data, and more.

Two items will show up on your desktop while DockAdmin is running: an icon in the system tray and a hide-away menu in the top part of the wallpaper. From the system tray icon you can access the Address Book, the Control Panel, and the Settings menu. You can also exit the application. From the hide-away menu you can access a list of favorites, customers, a tool to generate passwords, and some other bits and pieces. You can also exit the application from this menu.

As mentioned above, DockAdmin is available as a Free and as a Pro edition.
The Free edition has the following to offer: basic docked menu IT management, common remote protocols, sensitive info encryption, support for themes, support for multiple languages, custom commands. The Pro edition covers all these features and adds a few extras to the mix: stock module, quotations module, billing module, statistics, IT support, reports.

I invite you to go give DockAdmin a try, especially if you are a system admin and you want to add a useful tool to your arsenal.

Pros

A wizard will help you install DockAdmin; another wizard will help you go through the initial configuration. The interface provides support for themes and for multiple languages. There are two editions to choose from: DockAdmin Free and DockAdmin Pro. The functionality you get depends on the version you’re on.

Cons

None that I could think of.
